Ellman supports updated infrastructure plan signed into law today

ellman 052219SPRINGFIELD – Senator Laura Ellman (D-Naperville) released the following statement reacting to Gov. JB Pritzker signing capital statewide construction funding plan into law today:

“This long-overdue plan will make meaningful investments in our state’s infrastructure. Illinois is a transportation powerhouse, and it has been critical for the state to dedicate more resources into its capital plan for the last 10 years. Not only will our roads, bridges, transit systems and community service facilities benefit, but so will those who are hired for the countless good-paying jobs needed to get these projects done. Commerce, workers, families and Illinois as a whole all benefit under this plan.”
