Today the Senate had the honor of welcoming Vincent Floreani, the Counsel General of France in Chicago.
Vincent Floreani became Consul General of France in Chicago with jurisdiction for the 13 midwestern states in August 2014. Throughout his distinguished career in Foreign Service, Mr. Floreani has served in Romania, Indonesia, Kenya, Uganda, United Arab Emirates, New York and the United Kingdom.
Most recently, he served as Deputy Spokesman and Deputy Director of Communications and Press at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs before accepting the position of Counsel General of France in Chicago in August 2014.
